yarn along

 It's yarn along day.

So I'm finishing up my Fabonacci blanket I started a while back [like 2 1/2 years ago...ohhh so painful to say, since it was suppose to take only a couple of months]. I finish Luna's Basket Scarf and I blocked it, first time blocking. What a difference it makes, the stitches look so much better after and the yarn got softer.

Reading, Oh myyy! There Goes The Internet by George Takei. A friend of mine recommended it. I've since friended George Takei on FB [thanks Janet for your help with that!], love his posts they are funny! I really didn't know that much about him until I started reading his book. I have a twitter account I've never used [which I believe he twitters a lot], I get on Facebook mostly to keep up with my quilt guild, I like Pinterest & Flicker and I'm starting to post more on Instagram, but mostly I enjoy blogs. This does not include Ravelry, Etsy, & Goodreads time...whew! Well back to George, it's kind of an autobiography on his increased presence and popularity in the ether. So far I am really getting a good laugh and I can hear his voice when I say "Oh Myyy!" can you?

Linking up with Ginny of Small Things.

Have a great Wednesday!

  2. Love your blanket. Blankets are such a commitment but I'm so glad when I finish them!! Your scarf is great too. The basket weave is such a pretty stitch!
