snail mail challenge

In case no one has noticed, I love challenges. I ran across this one through the Letter Writers Alliance Blog, which I am a member of.....yup...hehe!
Lately all I get is junk mail. I remember when I used to look forward to even that...haha! The correspondence mail has dwindled to manly just the holidays. Well, I guess to get mail I need to send mail. I am looking forward to every one's responses.
So here it is, A Month of Letters challenge. Here are basic details of the challenge and you can read more on her blog:

"I have a simple challenge for you.

                     1. In the month of February, mail at least one item through the post every day it runs.
Write a postcard, a letter, send a picture, or a cutting from a newspaper, or a fabric
                         swatch.

                     2. Write back to everyone who writes to you. This can count as one of your mailed items.

All you are committing to is to mail 24 items. Why 24? There are four Sundays
one US holiday. In fact, you might send more than 24 items. You might develop a
correspondence that extends beyond the month. You might enjoy going to the mail box
                    again."

If anyone else wants to join me send me an e-mail if you don't have my address or give me yours and I'll drop something in the mail for you.

I also noticed on her blog she wrote a book, "Shades of Milk and Honey"...I am in the 2012 reading challenge at GoodReads (smile).  You can also read a sample chapter the link is down at the bottom.

Happy Monday, have a great week and write some letters...
