This week has not been a good week including being sick made it harder. Monday started off very emotional, founding out my boss had a heart attack. He is now home and doing better. It's always weird when something unfortunate happens close to you, it's hard to believe. So my co-workers and I were in a daze for most of the morning until we found out how he came out of surgery.
Steve, we are thinking and praying for an easy recovery.

Monday, I stopped by the bakery on my way home to pick up a rosca, Three Kings Cake to celebrate epiphany. I had planned to make tamales but since I was sick all weekend that didn't work out.
I got the kids involved with goals/resolutions this year. It's always interesting to see what thoughts go through their young minds. L saw everyone writing and decided she wanted to be part of it too...so cute! She wrote her own with some spelling help. I've written new year resolutions and of course, not completing them because I fall off pretty quick and usually just focus on one. I read this post on goals, fun and easy questions, which really appealed to me. So I used the same questions and typed one up real quick, because I'm already behind! The kids really thought about their answers.
