happy valentine's day

Sending pink energy and love to all my peeps!
Growing up and discovering boys I always wanted to have a Valentine and being the late bloomer it was not until I was in my early twenties before I had a valentine. So understanding what it feels like to not get flowers on this day I wanted to say to all my single friends...you are loved.

Trying to finish before Valentines, started last night...figures...I'm trying to cram in something right before I need it. 

One of the ladies demonstrated paper half square triangles at our Modern Quilt Guild and I'm loving the process! You can get templates here. She suggested paper that is less than 20 lb, it will tear away easier. If anyone has seen it in stores let me know because I'm still searching for either 16 lb or 18 lb other than Office Max, which we don't have here.

 

I might finish before Friday!

winter is coming slouchy hat

I've had this yarn and have been debating what to make [unfortunately it is no longer available it was a limited edition inspired by the Game of Thrones show last year], so I'm working on this hat pattern. Getting some stitches in while waiting on the brownies and feeling a little bit under the weather. Not sure who it's for, but someone will wear it if our cold weather continues.

This morning ice crystals on my windows.

hayley's t-shirt quilt

Commission T-Shirt Quilt for a Christmas gift. I think it turned out great and Hayley loved it.

Thanks to my husband and kids who were very patient the days before Christmas, the quilt was finished on the 24th of December!
