sparkly wands

The skies lit up last night with a fireworks celebration, Happy 236th Independence Day America! 

My kids have the most fun with the wand sparklers...ahem...I had some wands too...hehe!

adding tabs can be stressful

Added tabs to my bible, I wanted to relax and get something  accomplished...these tabs where difficult...haha!Whew, finally got that done. I had more books than tabs so I left spaces to let myself know there is a book in there.

We got some much needed rain. 

The rain hit the ground and brought up an earthy smell I remember from living in Mexico.

I love that smell, if you know what I mean!

No worries I was in a construction area and stopped.

what is in my bag

I'm trying to turn into a minimalist...I think it would be nice if all we carried was a wallet, but a girl with a wallet in her pocket just does not appeal to me, too bulky! 

What is in my bag...a rolled up shopping bag, my wallet, car key, zipper bag for loose items (pen, ear phones, chap stick) and my phone but I used it to take the picture. : )

Ram said he was going to draw a portrait of me, so he came close and studied me for a couple of seconds and went off and created this piece of art. I think it looks pretty good except for the red parts...haha!

happy father's day

Happy Father's Day to all the dads and new dads including mine and my hubby...

Feliz Dia de los Padres!

Some father's day wishes on our new chalkboard wall and I used some of my new fabric to wrap gifts. Then I just folded it back up for the next project.

Rog got a new shirt, Weber charcoal grill, and accessories. Lucky him!
